Nepal Flood Relief & Hope Restoration

Standing With Nepal in a Time of Crisis
Situation in Nepal
On August 26, 2026, a catastrophic flash flood swept through communities along Nepal’s Bhote Koshi and Trishuli river systems after an ice and rock collapse in the Himalayan region. Homes, roads, bridges, hydropower facilities, businesses, and livelihoods were devastated, leaving families displaced and communities facing enormous loss.
The Crisis Continues
It is difficult to fully understand the scale of this tragedy. Families are crying out in pain, and many are still waiting for their loved ones. As of September 19, 2026, official updates report 1,411 casualties, 5,875 people still missing, and 13,784 people rescued. Thousands of families continue to face loss, displacement, and damaged homes and livelihoods.

Many flood-affected families are without adequate food, and some lack even the basic cooking supplies needed to prepare what food they have.
Families are facing tremendous stress, loss, and uncertainty.
We want to respond with practical help food, cooking essentials, clean water, temporary shelter, first-aid, and hope.
Pray for Nepal and for God’s wisdom and provision as we prepare to serve.

How Grassroots Revival - Hope of Life Team Is Helping
At Hope of Life, we believe that in times of crisis, we are called to pray, also to go, serve, support, and stand with those who are hurting.
Our team has completed the initial preparations and is ready to go and serve families affected by the devastating floods in Nepal.
Our response is focused on providing short-term assistance such as:-
👇👇👇
Food, Cooking & Household Essentials supplies
Clean Water & Hygiene
First-aid and basic medical assistance
Blankets and mattresses
Prayer, encouragement, and practical support
Bedding & Warmth
Children’s Education & Warm Clothing
Many people cannot come to church because of this disaster, so the church must go to them (Matt 28:18-20) Beyond meeting physical needs, we will also offer prayer, encouragement, comfort, and compassionate support to families who are hurting.
We may be late, but we are not too late to stand with those in need. God loves those who wait upon Him. His timing is best.
As needs become clearer and resources allow, we also hope to support longer-term recovery and restoration, helping families rebuild their homes, livelihoods, and communities.
Our Initial Goal
Our initial fundraising goal is $25,000, with the aim of assisting approximately 250 affected families around 1,250 people.
Based on our current assessment, we estimate that approximately $100 per family can help provide essential relief.
If we raise more, we will help more families. If we find better prices, we will stretch every dollar further. We are committed to using donations responsibly and directing assistance where it is needed most.

Why We Are Helping
Hope of Life has existing relationships with local churches, ministry leaders, believers, and communities, helping us understand local needs and respond where assistance is most needed.
We are not responding because we have everything, but because we believe we cannot simply watch people suffer when we have an opportunity to stand with them.
We want to serve respectfully, work alongside local leaders, and bring practical help and hope to affected families.

We may not be able to rebuild everything.
But together, we can help some affected family.

Volunteers are ready to work under the guidance of our leadership team.

Stand With Nepal
For a family who has lost their home, a tent is more than a tent it is safety.
For a family without food, a month of food is more than a meal it is hope.
For someone who has lost almost everything, knowing that someone cares can make a difference.
Your prayer can bring strength. Your generosity can provide practical help. Your partnership can help restore hope.
“Let us not love with words or speech but with actions and in truth.” - 1 John 3:18
